  Doing this on our honeymoon was a wonderful experience, just like the movies. Our gratitude to pilot Bob, he was so interesting to talk to and the photos we took on the day with his help really made our experience unforgettable, the sky was so big.

  There were 2 30 minute flights. I was on the second, so we started with watching the balloon go up and we continued with chasing it.

  Very capable team and pilot bob answered everyone's questions with great humor. Seeing the 7 balloons taking off was really good, far bigger than we expected, so smooth.

  Once on board, the flight was smooth and lower off the ground than I expected. Best of both worlds. High enough to see a long way to the horizon, low enough to see wildlife and other details on the ground.

  Overall my family had a great time during our Hot Air Balloon ride in Port Douglas in May 2014. The views from the balloon were fantastic and it was amazing to see the sunrise. The crew was very professional and accommodating. Not having ever previously gone ballooning we didn't know what to expect, so were surprised by how large the balloons were. We were told each of the 4 sections of the basket could hold up to 6 people. During our ride there were 5 people in each section of the basket. I felt like the experience would have been 5 star if we had a bit more space (we were traveling as a family of 4 adults and a single adult rider was in our basket with us as well) to give us a bit more space to feel relaxed and more comfortable.

  An awesome morning, top quality staff to talk to and great to see safety the ultimate priority closely followed be giving you a fabulous experience! Not a cheap day out but so glad we forked out for this once in a lifetime but so worth it!

  Along the way in the bus we were told little bits of information until our arrival at the balloons. I should point out it had been raining in Port Douglas, but up on the tableland the weather was perfect.
