  From start to finish the whole day was perfect. The crew were great. Very helpful and informative with a great sense of humour. The boat was nice and small so we could go to dive sites away from the huge groups, the boat isn't tiny though if anyone is worried about seasickness. The food was also really nice and as an added bonus we got professional quality photos included in the price. I would have gone straight back out the next day if I could have.

  Great crew for diving the reef. Smart, knowledge and patient . The guided dives are excellent. Lunch that was provided was perfect for a day at sea. They also provide you with awesome pics of your dive. We'll worth the money and with them only bringing a small group out you see way more sea life.

  Had a fantastic experience with these guys. Thank you all so much. We did a family day with a reluctant dad to snorkel ( but to be fair he was never a water baby) a mother keen to explore her daughter’s world of diving, and a daughter who has her DM and wants to make DI part of her future. So we were booked with ABC for ‘snorkel’, ‘Discover Scuba’ and ‘diving’ in that order.

  I met Jay already years ago in 2012 when he convinced me to do a diving licence with him. Since this time I always come back to dive with him again and there was not even a single point ever I could miss or complain about.

  Nowadays with his own boat and crew is this trip to the Great Barrier Reef even more exciting. He spoils you with countless underwater pictures from you and your family and friends. Being with him and his crew is just breathtaking. I always enjoy going out to the reef with this awesome team.

  We were picked up at accommodation, taken to the boat, greeted by a friendly smiling crew. Given the safety brief, then on our way to the Great Barrier Reef. On the way we had a very interesting talk on the local environmental situation, scientific, practical and current. Then a prep for what was to come. Divers grouped together, snorkelers together, and me, mom, the only ‘Discover Scuba’ person. Thank you Paul for your professional patient tuition. You made it possible for me to experience some of the beauty of the GBR and get a firsthand handle on what our daughter is quite sold on and loves to do. A very memorable day for me. I so enjoyed the whole day once I was able to put the initial fear behind me. Thanks to you.

  And for the reason I lived in Port Douglas quite a while I got to know all the other dive companies, as well. And I can assure his service and quality is nothing you can ever compare with anyone else there. Be sure to do it with the most advanced guy and get the most out of it!

  I'm so glad we booked with ABC Scuba Diving, they take no more than 12 people out, they're extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and have a great sense of humor!! They can provide one on one attention if you need it, and they are all very attentive and making sure everyone is having fun and being safe while doing so!! I cannot say enough good things about this company, they took us to 3 different dive sights where we found giant cuddle fish, nudi branches, crabs, sea cucumbers, tiny cleaning shrimps, hundreds of different coral that were absolutely extraordinary, along with so many different varieties of wonderful fish most that will swim right up to you out of sheer curiosity!!! They are so worth the price, they take pictures the whole time you're diving and /or snorkeling and don't charge you extra like some other companies! I would go again in a heartbeat if we ever make our way to Port Douglas again, truly an AMAZING crew/staff!!
